Eight players, mostly from Nottingham, contested this event in fine and mostly sunny weather. The Egyptian scoring meant that there were three games which could yield a winner going into the last round, but in the end Roger Watson emerged undefeated over the weekend to claim the trophy and a well deserved handicap reduction to 1.5.
