Ashby (Andy, Mick, Judith and Stephanie) travelled to Chester but lost 1-6 in their Murphy Shield inter-club GC knockout match.

Unfortunately this ends our involvement in this year’s national team competitions, having already lost 2-5 to Bowdon in the AC Longman Cup. In the main GC Inter-Club competition we were unable to field a credible team for the away match at High Wycombe (only two players with handicap 2 or below on any date in May).
