Sun 8th October, Kenilworth Report by Arthur
Four Ashby players took part in the Kenilworth Festival doubles GC tournament in lovely warm weather. The event has an 8+ combined handicap restriction. Avril York & Arthur Rowe were playing against Martin Wroughton & John Picken in the last round pictured here. Last year two Ashby pairs were battling it out for first and second place; unfortunately this year neither pair were likely to be in the honours, but we did all have a good day out and enjoyed meeting new people there.
