An all-female team (Judith, Lesley and Heather) claimed Ashby B’s first victory of the season against a previously-unbeaten Sheffield U3A team.
Ashby were actually leading 7-2 with a round to go, but a clean sweep of wins to Sheffield U3A in the final round was not enough to turn around the overall result.
