There were only four playing in our Ladies’ Perry Bowl competition this year. (Thanks Jill for stepping in.) The weather forecast was very wet, so we got started early at 10.50 am. The sun was out with a strong wind.
In the first game Lesley & Steph won their games. The second game was won by Avril & Lesley. We then played the third game, as the weather was good. Avril & Steph won that one.
We had dinner while it was raining and thundering.
Steph and Avril had won two games each on 20 pts. So we had a final which was a close battle with Avril winning 7-6. Well done Avril winning the Perry Bowl after a rapid improvement in the last few weeks.
