Ashby had a relatively short trip to Shrewsbury in this first-round Longman Cup tie. This CA national handicap competition is limited to AC handicaps 3.5 and above, meaning that our pool of eligible players was limited. Judith kindly stepped in to play, in a rare competitive AC appearance.
The final result was 5-2 to Shrewsbury, but two of the games we lost were close in the end (losing -1 and -3). Well done to Mick and Adam for each winning a singles game.
