Our winter season ended with a BBQ on a fine spring-like day. Thanks to Jenny for suggesting, organising and preparing all the food for the fantastic BBQ event – and for her good words with the weather gods!
It was especially nice that Frank was able to come out thanks to his son’s encouragement, and I am sure we all hope to see more of him in the coming season.
Thanks also to the stalwart BBQ chef Heather who cooked for everyone whilst only managing the occasional munch of a burger herself.
The main season starts on Sunday 27th March, and in the meantime please don’t forget Martin’s Monday and Wednesday morning working parties (from about 9.30am onwards) during March with free bacon cobs offered to those who turn up to help do the work.
