Tues 15th Oct, Moira Report by Arthur
Mick & Heather and Judith & Arthur played the last game of the GC doubles final (Judith & Arthur had won the first 7-3 and lost the second 6-7 on 30th September). It was finely balanced at 3-3 but after some serendipity at hoops 7 and 9 and a great fight back by Heather & Mick, the Rowes eventually emerged as 7-5 winners in the final game.
I have no idea where the ‘March Mallet’ trophy is though. I have had very few replies from my email asking people to ‘fess up what they have in the way of trophies!
