Tues 4th September, Leicester Report by Arthur
The Ashby A team of Arthur, Mike and Martin suffered a narrow defeat at Leicester, with half the games going to the 13th hoop.
After four rounds Ashby trailed 4-5, but were only able to win one of the last round matches, all of which had 7-6 scorelines.
Leicester were represented by David Bell, Mark Buckley and Richard Whiting.
Looking at the league table today, we have 3.5 wins from 5 matches this year as do Leicester; if we beat Bakewell on 27th September then we can win the league provided that Leicester do not beat Bakewell by a bigger margin.
