The Ashby team of Ray, Martin, Rupert and Richard beat Culcheth 4–2 at Moira on a gloriously hot day. Ashby will now face Nottingham in the next round of the Murphy Shield.
Update 28/05/18: Nottingham have unfortunately now withdrawn from the Murphy Shield, so Ashby will now play either Tyneside or Hunstanton in the quarter-finals.
